From sea transport to inland delivery
Your cargo has reached the seaport, but its journey may not end there. When your shipment needs to continue inland, we arrange onward transport by barge from Dutch and Belgian seaports to destinations in The Netherlands, Germany and beyond.
We work with inland shipping operators to connect the sea voyage with the next leg of your cargo’s journey. You stay with the same ERA team instead of having to arrange a separate transport partner yourself.
Connecting the next leg
We find suitable barge capacity for your cargo, quantity and destination. We agree the loading point and timing with the inland operator, taking the seagoing vessel’s arrival into account.
If the arrival schedule changes, we work with the operator to adjust the connection. The aim is to have the onward transport organised before your cargo reaches the port.
